The landscape was done at an Adult Day Health program probably around 2010.

Lois being serious

Someone asked me, "What is there in the world that is real, dependable and unchanging?" I didn’t try a long list. I simply said, "Behavior has consequences." (1970s) R: What life lessons do you consider important? Lois: All of them. R: Which would you stress? Lois: Love your neighbor as yourself; love your family as yourself. Lois Evelyn Franklin Campbell 1919 to 2018      Lois Evelyn Franklin Campbell died peacefully at home in Bellingham, Washington at the age of 98, secure in her Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, the Reverend and Mrs. Samuel Walsh Franklin, beloved husband Odell, older sisters M adge, Mary Catherine, and Eleanor, and younger brother Samuel. She is survived by sons Samuel and Robert, grandsons Peter and Derek, plus many nephews, nieces, and other relatives.      Lois grew up in Oklahoma in a Methodist family. She received her Master's degree in education in 1959, and her Ph.D. in Special Education in 1963, both from the University of Oklahoma. In Oklahoma she worked as a teacher of children and later a college professor, and then as a school psychologist in southern Louisiana. She was involved with education for the hard of hearing and profoundly hard of hearing for many years, and was a strong advocate of preparing such children to be an active part

Lois being funny 2011-2015

Recently I drove my sweet little 91 year old mother to Canada to visit a bird sanctuary. At the border we got the usual questions, and then for some reason "Do you have any rifles? Any handguns? Any guns of any kind? Any swords? Any knives?" "No, no, no, no, no." "Any weapons of any kind?" "Nooo." Just then mom said something. I turned to find her holding up both hands in fists and saying again, "weapons." We all laughed. The birds were great, and very safe while we were there. (2010) Lois: I think I would prefer a spoonful of ice cream. R: How about a forkful? Lois: Fork it over. (2011) Nurse: Can I take your blood pressure? Lois: Will you give it back? R: I am going to take a shower. Lois: Where are you going to take it? R: Thank you for your patience. Lois: (pauses, gives a quizzical look, touches chest.) I still have it.
